Plumbing AdvancedApprenticeshi pWhat do I need?Ideally, you should have four GCSEs atGrade A-C including English and Maths.You must also be employed in theplumbing industry.What qualification willI receive?Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship and KeySkills qualification in English, Maths and ICT.What will I study?You will combine on-the-job training withyour plumbing employer with day release atcollege to further develop your knowledgeof the theory aspects to the apprenticeshipprogramme.LEVEL 3 ApprenticeshipHow will I be assessed?Each qualification within the apprenticeshipframework is assessed through ongoingdemonstration of your practical skills andtheory assessments. Some units of thequalification require an online assessment.Functional Skills courses are assessed by afinal written examination.WHEREWHOProspects College, Basildon.Able and motivated 16-24 year olds,employed in the plumbing industryand capable of completing anapprenticeship at Level 3.Further training opportunities?After successful completion of the courseyou can progress onto Higher Education.How much will it cost?For 16-18 year old studentsapprenticeships are fully funded.
