Franklin’s commitment to the cause was certainly successful — Pennsylvania Hospital still exists today as part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Thanks to the dedication and generosity of our neighbors, St. Luke’s, Boise’s only community-owned hospital, has been providing medical care to people in our region for more than 100 years. St. Luke’s Health Foundation, in partnership with each of our donors, is proud to be a part of the grand tradition of community hospitals begun by Benjamin Franklin so many years ago. - - 35
