100 From Hopscotch To Holinessglory through each of us when we are truly anointed and empowered forministry.God’s kingdom power and glory are given freely to us as Christ’sambassadors in a hurting world. The ministry of the church is to call everybeliever to co-labor with the Lord to see his kingdom come and his will tobe done on earth. The King of Kings expects no less.THE ROLE OF SPIRITUAL LEADERSPastors and spiritual leaders hold key roles in work of the kingdom. Werespect them greatly for their calling and dedication to ministry. They alsoshould be surrounded in consistent, strategic prayer. Our spiritual leaderswill be a consistent target of the enemy because of their important rolein the church. Consider 2 Peter 2:19-20. “They promise them freedom,but they themselves are slaves of corruption; for people are slaves towhatever masters them. For if, after they have escaped the defilementsof the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,they are again entangled in them and overpowered, the last state hasbecome worse for them than the first.”I believe it grieves the Lord tremendously when any believers fall prey tosin. But, when spiritual leaders fall prey to entanglements with the sin ofany kind, the magnitude of the problem is intensified. And, the state ofthe church is also gravely affected. I am passionate about seeing everychurch equipped with an intentional, strategic plan to cover every aspectof ministry in the church with fervent prayer.
