It’s worth the price. By God’sgrace, you’ll radiate the love and holiness of God every day. Then you willbe ready for his return.HOLINESS AND OBEDIENCERomans 6:17-18 clarifies the connection between holiness and obedience.“But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, youhave come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that hasnow claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and havebecome slaves to righteousness.” Once, before we knew Christ, all of uswere slaves of sin. Sin dominated our lives. Living a holy life was a totalimpossibility. But thanks to our personal relationship with Jesus Christ,we have now becomes slaves of righteousness. We don’t just obey Godout of duty. Instead, we have become “obedient from the heart.” Wenow have an honest desire to obey the Lord in all things and walk in hisholiness. Daily, we’re growing in holiness and obedience.
