allowance for fluctuations was stated.<br />

The calculation bases for the AVÖ 2008-P pension insurance plan (previous year: AVÖ-<br />

2008-P) were used to calculate the provisions.<br />

Provisions for pensions are only required for the Austrian companies. These are calculated<br />

based on recognized actuarial principles using the projected unit credit method at<br />

an assumed interest rate of 5.25 percent p.a. (previous year: 5.25 percent) and a 1.0 to<br />

1.5 percent salary adjustment rate (previous year: 1.5 percent), 0 percent for fixed pension<br />

commitments. A fluctuation allowance was not applied.<br />

As of the business year 2005-06, any actuarial gains or losses resulting from changes in<br />

actuarial assumptions (demographic and financial assumptions) are reported uniformly, in<br />

accordance with the provisions of IAS 19.93A, as part of other income and expenses in<br />

the statement of income and accumulated earnings.<br />

Contribution-based pension commitments are granted by two foreign subsidiaries, where<br />

the employer contributes to an external fund. The contributions to the funds represent<br />

expenses for the current period. Expenses reported in the 2009-2010 business year total<br />

TEUR 576 (previous year: TEUR 593).<br />
