Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
What better way to start your weekend, than with all your
friends at NEDSRA? These “super” Saturdays are filled
with lots of fun! We’ll play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy
some music therapy, go swimming and maybe even visit
with some trained therapy dogs. Before we go home, we’ll
end our morning with a snack.

Horseback Riding Lessons F130107
Youth with an Intellectual Disability, Physical Disability
or Autism
Saddle up, horse lovers! Our good friends at Palatine
Stables are waiting to provide awesome horseback riding
lessons for us yet again! Everyone will receive a 30-minute
horseback riding lesson, along with some meet-and-greet
time with the other animals in the barn. We’ll break for a
healthy snack while we share our experiences of the day
with each other. Long pants and closed-toe shoes must be
worn. Register early to secure your spot, as this program is
limited to 10 participants.

Karate for Kids F130106
Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
Through this 6-week program, participants will be
introduced to basic Karate concepts and moves. Karate
promotes self-confidence, self-control, self-defense and
provides a safe and fun social experience. Kids at all
levels are encouraged to join, so sign up today!

Cub Scouts F132619
Youth of All Abilities
Why join the Cub Scouts? Because Cub Scouting is fun!
Cub Scouts do fun things, go neat places, belong to a
pack, make awesome stuff, wear cool uniforms, and earn
awards. As a Cub Scout you will be part of NEDSRA’s
own pack #437. Our pack relies heavily upon parent
volunteering with weekly den meetings, and especially
with annual events such as popcorn sales, camping, and
the pinewood derby. The program fee includes all Thursday
den meetings, supplies, and special events. Don’t miss
out on the excellent program opportunities that Cub Scout
Pack #437 has to offer!

Winter Break Escape
Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
Looking for something fun and exciting to do over winter break? Winter Escape is broken up into two sessions,
one that occurs after Christmas and the other after New Years, with each session being two days. Activities will
include a field trip, arts and crafts, gym time and baking snacks! If your child requires medication during the
program, please fill out the Medication Release Form and bring it with the medication on the fi rst day of the
program. Please pack a sack lunch each day.
