Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
“Thank Goodness It’s Friday” (TGIF) has a unique season ahead
of us. For this season there will be an overnight program! That’s
right, for this season we will be able to say “Thank Goodness It’s
Friday…and Saturday!” We will be staying at the Comfort Suites
in Oakbrook Terrace, and the overnight will include a pool party,
pizza dinner, a big screen movie, and gaming tournament! The
next morning, we will enjoy a great buffet breakfast at the hotel
and return to NEDSRA by 10:30 a.m. Details on the overnight will
be arranged after the registration deadline on 9/6. The remaining
two weeks of the program will be on November 1 and November 15,
which will be in-house activities at NEDSRA.

Youth Fitness Club F130109
Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
There’s an exciting new club out there, Youth Fitness Club!
This club will focus on improving your health and physical
condition. Each week you will work on a variety of things
including weight training, cardio exercise, and aqua
exercise! You will receive a home exercise workout
manual and log book to keep track of your progress!

Lego Build Off F130110
Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
Come out and join us at the Bensenville Public Library
for some Lego fun! Each week you will be given a limited
number of Legos and a specific theme, then using your
creative imagination, you will create a Lego masterpiece!
Prizes and snacks will be included during this program.

Junior Theater Troupe F132202
Youth with an Intellectual Disability or Autism
If you are interested in getting on stage and expressing
yourself through song and dance, this is the program for
you. Join NEDSRA’s popular Theater Troupe for Juniors
to get the same experiences but on a smaller scale. You
will benefit from being mentored by the same staff and
adult participants who are all seasoned veterans with this
program. Learn lines, songs and dance moves and be
part of the two night finale performances in March. This
is a great program to help boost self-esteem, confi dence
and encourages social interaction with peers.
