Come try out new workout techniques that are

DAY!
fun and will get your heart pumping. Each participant will
receive an individual health and fitness plan that they will
work on during the program. Participants will get to try a
variety of cardio machines, enjoy a nice walk outside on the
path and learn new techniques to achieve optimal health and
fitness. Each meeting will include helpful health tips regarding
good eating and life choices that participants can work on
outside of the program. The first week of the program
a healthy cookbook will be distributed. Please dress in
comfortable fitness apparel. Don’t forget your water bottle!

dinner. Come join your NEDSRA friends after the fitness
program and make a healthy dinner. Participants will
continue to learn new recipes, kitchen safety, healthy
eating habits while increasing independence and life
skills. All participants will receive a healthy cookbook at
the program.

is hosting the Annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange,
full of seasonal traditions and good cheer. We will enjoy
festive appetizers, holiday crafts, fun games, and a gift
exchange. Participants are asked to bring a wrapped,
unisex gift for the exchange valued at no more than $5.00.

the Christmas tree at the Annual Medinah Park District
Deck the Halls event. Come with your holiday ornament
ideas because the first week we will travel to the craft store
to pick out our supplies for our special tree. Please look at
