Una frase giusta Van Rompuy l’ha detta :”Vivere il sogno
europeo non è compito esclusivo dei politici.”
Ed appunto, anch’io, che vivo in Europa, amo pensare ad
uno Stato Unito d’Europa (SUE), cosa che purtroppo ancora
oggi non c’è ed è da costruire. Lo SUE avrebbe avuto il
potere di legiferare come Stato Sovrano ed imporre decisioni
riguardanti i singoli Stati e controllarne i bilanci ed il debito
pubblico imponendo nelle Costituzioni Nazionali in pareggio
di bilancio, perché almeno così il potere centrale sarebbe
stato a Bruxelles e non ci sarebbero state nuove costituzioni
di provincie, come è avvenuto anche l’anno scorso in
Italia con Monza-Brianza. Si è parlato tanto di Unificazione
Europea, ma il fatto che il Governo di Roma abbia permesso
anche la costituzione di regioni a statuto speciali come
la Sicilia, che delapida ingenti somme in clientelismo e
parassitismo, è cosa disgustosa che mina il reddito della
popolazione e la realizzazione del progetto di unificazione.
In Italia la situazione economica è drammatica e stando alle
stime del sindacato italiano Cisl, nel 2010 la cassa integrazione
ha attivato 1 miliardo di ore per 500.000 lavoratori
con 10.000 imprese attualmente in crisi.
Oggi ci sono su territorio italiano 2.142.000 disoccupati,
che corrisponde all’ 8,6%. La disoccupazione dei giovani è
del 30,0% cioè 2 su 3 sono disoccupati.
Per questa grave situazione le responsabilità non sono della
moneta euro, ma di chi ha governato con incompetenza,
scarsa cultura ed in male fede, negli ultimi 15 anni.
Più chiaramente mi riferisco “all’armata Brancaleone” dei
berlusconiani e dei leghisti, che ha fatto un gran danno
all’Italia. Non occorre fare degli esempi perché i fatti sono
quotidianamente sotto gli occhi di tutti.
The disturbing words of Van Rompuy, very much a
“Cassandra prophecy”, have had an extremely negative
impact, because in every country in the EU, some “political
bag carrier” or other has seized upon them as an indication
that the Euro might collapse or be got rid of. Van Rompuy
was right about one thing: “Fulfilling the European dream is
not something that should be left to politicians alone.”
Precisely. I live in Europe, and I like to think of the idea of a
“United States of Europe” (USE), which unfortunately does
not yet exist and must be constructed The USE would have
the power to pass legislation as a sovereign state, to impose
decisions that regard individual countries and to keep
checks on budgets and public debt, making it constitutionally
compulsory to break even, because at least in this way
the centre of power would be in Brussels, and we would
not see the creation of new provinces, as happened in Italy
last year with Monza-Brianza. There has been much talk of
European unification, but the fact that the Italian government
in Rome has permitted the creation of privileged special-statute
regions such as Sicily, which wastes huge sums
of money on mutual back-scratching and freeloading, is
sickening, because it eats away at the income of the whole
population and undermines the unification project. In Italy,
the economic situation is dramatic, and according to the
trade union Cisl, in 2010 500,000 workers were laid off for 1
billion hours, and 10,000 businesses are currently in crisis.
Today Italy has an unemployment rate of 8.6%, with
