Standard Operating Procedure 19: Entering
the Participants Responses
(CPA Standards: F3, F4)
Following the initiation of the circulation the Scheme Secretary copies the
relevant CLINICAL.DAT file onto the Scheme Organiser’s version of the Omnis7
database.
When the Scheme Organiser has returned their responses he/she can begin to
enter the results into the Omnis7 database. The Scheme Secretary provides the
Scheme Organiser with the received responses in a non-identifiable manner for
data entry.
When all results have been entered and the amalgamations decided at the
participants meeting have been conducted a copy of the consultants file is
created into which the trainee results are entered. This allows the trainees to
compare their results to consultants without them being included in the final
scoring.
