2005 (LIONS):<br />

• Started all 16 games and totaled 42 tackles (29 solo), 1.0 sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.<br />

• Registered five solo stops and 1.0 sack against Chicago (10/30).<br />

2004 (LIONS):<br />

2003 (LIONS):<br />

COLLEGE:<br />

• A two-time First Team All-Big 12 Conference selection as a junior and senior (2001-02) at Texas.<br />

• Competed in every game, including a string of 35 consecutive starts and finished his collegiate career with 201 tackles (123 solo),<br />

21.0 sacks, 53 tackles for loss, one interception, six passes defensed, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.<br />

• Was one-of-four finalists for the Lombardi Award and inaugural Hendricks Award. Was on the Nagurski Award watch list as a senior.<br />

• Attended North Shore High School in Galena Park, Texas and was named USA Today’s National Defensive Player of the Year and<br />

consensus All-America as a senior.<br />

• In his final prep season, recorded 215 tackles (103 solo), 15.0 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries<br />

and four interceptions.<br />

• Was named the nation’s top linebacker by Parade and earned First Team Associated Press All-State and Texas Sports Writers<br />

Association honors.<br />

• Named the Texas Class 5A Defensive Player of the Year.<br />

• Won the state Class 5A title in discus as a junior and senior.<br />

• The Cory Redding Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities and individuals reach for and achieve<br />

• Annually hosts a non-contact football camp in Houston for 300-plus youth and, through sponsorship, is able to provide charitable<br />

grants to worthy nonprofit organizations.<br />
