WHAT TO LOOK FOR THIS WEEK

Rian Lindell (20) for 19th place and two 50-yard field goals to tie

OLB-ERIK WALDEN
• Can record his second-straight game with a sack for the first time
this season.
TWO OF A KIND
Wide receiver Reggie Wayne made his 1,000th career reception in
the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game against the San Diego
Chargers (10/14) and became the ninth player in NFL history to accomplish
the feat. With five receptions in the game, Wayne also
passed Hines Ward (1,000) for eighth-most receptions all-time.
The Colts also became the first team in NFL history to have two
players with 1,000 receptions each with the franchise. Marvin Harrison,
who played his entire 13-year career with Indianapolis, ranks
third in NFL history with 1,102 catches.
71 STRAIGHT GAMES
Reggie Wayne caught three-or-more passes in an NFL-record
71 consecutive games. He broke the previous record when he
caught eight passes for 102 yards in Week 12 vs. Buffalo last season,
which extended his streak to 59 straight games. Cris Carter
held the previous record of 58 consecutive games as a member of
the Minnesota Vikings from December 12, 1993 to October 5, 1997.
Wayne’s streak dates back to the first game of the 2009 season
when he caught 10 passes for 162 yards vs. Jacksonville.
NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN
Since 2008, the Colts have posted a 14-1 record against divisional
opponents the second time they play them in a season. That mark is
tops in the NFL over the past five seasons. The only loss came in
2011 against the Jaguars.

Over the past 11 years, the Colts have compiled a league-leading
.722 winning percentage (26-10) in the month of September. During
that span, only five other teams have posted a winning percentage
of at least .600 through the season’s first month.
