• Attended Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla.
• Finished his senior season with 225 carries for 2,090 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns.
• Eclipsed the 400-yard single-game rushing plateau twice, including a school-record 419 yards on 26 carries.
• Also competed in track and captured the state’s weightlifting championship (219-pound class).
