The expansion units absorbs the thermal expansion during normal use that, on long
runs, would otherwise cumulate and put abnormal force on the connection points
The expansion unit is to be placed in the straight runs of more than 40m and
repeated every 40m.
e.g. straight section length m 70 = 1 element with expansion in the middle of
the line
