2015 Maryland Nurses Association
Highlights 2014-2015:
The MNA Environmental Health Committee is dedicated to protecting the health of nurses and
the public from toxic hazards in the workplace and the community. To that end, Environmental
Health Committee members were active this year in writing testimony and going to Annapolis
and Washington, D.C. to provide verbal testimony in support of several bills aimed at reducing
hazardous exposures. The Environmental Health Committee collaborated with the MNA
Legislative Committee to register a position of SUPPORT for the following bills in the 2015
Maryland General Assembly session:
