Director: Rosemary Rodriguez / US / 2015 / 96 min / DCP / English
A group of tenant’s lives are turned upside down when their beloved apartment complex
is suddenly sold out from under them. Silver Skies is a funny, dark and lovely story
about getting older and trying to hang onto each other and the American Dream.
Executive Produced by Fred Roos (the Godfather movies, Lost in Translation, St. Vincent)
and Arthur Sarkissian (Rush Hour movies, While You Were Sleeping), Silver Skies
has an eclectic cast including George Hamilton, Valerie Perrine, Alex Rocco, Barbara
Bain, Mariette Hartley, Howard Hesseman, Jack McGee, and Jack Betts. These wonderful
actors shine in roles we have never seen them in before, even in their 50 to 60
year careers, making this a real crowd-pleaser.
