Boccaccerias Habaneras (Boccaccio in Havana) is composed by three stories interconnected by a main line: a writer’s room where people go
to tell anecdotes hoping to make some money and become characters of a novel or a movie. This is a Bocacccio’s version based on a city
environment, a Havana Decameron. A film full of sensuality, ease and hidden passions.
Story #1: It’s the Day of the Wedding and Mom & Dad are doing all the heavy lifting while the bride to be drifts off with another thought.
Story #2: A backstage worker at a traveling circus, is called upon to perform services not in his job description...and the consequences could
not be more hilarious.
Story #3: A cigar company has for years brought in a student intern from the local college to learn business from the ground up. Little does
he realize, that cigar he is making him is rolling him into a lot of trouble.
Bawdy, outrageous, hilarious and campy... Boccacchios provides us with more than laughs, but also an intimate look into the day-to-day lives
of our neighbors to the south.
