OVERVIEW: The Safe Anaesthesia Liaison Group (SALG) are delighted to host the annual Patient Safety Conference in<br />

Birmingham this year.<br />

A single-day meeting which consists of lectures, each of which is followed by ample time for discussion. It is intended<br />

for doctors engaged in clinical anaesthesia, pain management and intensive care medicine (i.e. Consultants, Staff<br />

and Associate Specialist Grades or their overseas equivalent) who have a particular interest in improving patient<br />

safety. Experts will present up-to-date information on a wide range of patient safety related topics, including the<br />

improvement of clinical systems, training safer anaesthetists and facilitating learning from other industries.<br />
