OVERVIEW: The Safe Anaesthesia Liaison Group (SALG) are delighted to host the annual Patient Safety Conference in
Birmingham this year.
A single-day meeting which consists of lectures, each of which is followed by ample time for discussion. It is intended
for doctors engaged in clinical anaesthesia, pain management and intensive care medicine (i.e. Consultants, Staff
and Associate Specialist Grades or their overseas equivalent) who have a particular interest in improving patient
safety. Experts will present up-to-date information on a wide range of patient safety related topics, including the
improvement of clinical systems, training safer anaesthetists and facilitating learning from other industries.
