Frasers beautifully, hand-crafted traditional<br />

Kentish Oak Barn with its wealth of<br />

exposed beams makes for the perfect<br />

place to while away a few hours during<br />

the festive season. The fifteen foot real<br />

Christmas tree which is stylishly decorated<br />

forms the central focus for Christmas.<br />

The array of fairy lights and tea lights<br />

makes the atmosphere extra special.<br />

What size group can you cater for?<br />

We are delighted to welcome parties from<br />

as intimate as a couple to lively parties<br />

of 50. (Prior booking is required.)<br />

Christmas dishes / drinks?<br />

Our Christmas menus are skilfully<br />

prepared in our 2 AA Rosette kitchen by<br />

the talented Head Chef Alan Egan. Our<br />

menus are designed utilising the finest<br />

locally sourced ingredients, wherever<br />

possible these are gleaned from our farm.<br />

Our ‘Frasers’ estate breast of wood pigeon,<br />

remoulade, blackberry and port reduction<br />

is a “Festive Favourite”. Our Christmas<br />

puddings were made six months ago<br />

allowing them time to mature and ensure<br />

they are rich and delectable. Frasers<br />

offers an extensive range of wine from<br />

all over the world for our customer’s<br />

enjoyment. Our house recommendations<br />

are nearer to home being sourced from<br />

the nearby Hush Heath and Chapel<br />

Down Estates. Why not enjoy a glass of<br />

Biddenden mulled cider or apple juice?<br />

When will you be putting up your<br />

tree and who will decorate it?<br />

Our Christmas tree will be in the<br />

barn from the beginning of December<br />

to ensure that all our customers<br />

experience the “Frasers Magic”.<br />

What are you wishing for Christmas?<br />

Firstly we wish all our family, friends<br />

and valued customers a healthy and<br />

prosperous Christmas and New Year.<br />

We also wish that our clients, both<br />

old and new, come and experience<br />

our renowned ‘Frasers’ hospitality and<br />

incredible food, whether it is for a<br />

cosy lunch, afternoon tea or supper.<br />

What will you be<br />

doing to make your<br />

restaurant / hotel feel<br />

festive this Christmas?<br />

We will be decorating a large Christmas<br />

tree and making the conservatory look lovely and festive.<br />

We will be serving mulled wine and festive canapés and<br />

background music will add to the cosy atmosphere.<br />

What size group can you cater for?<br />

We can cater for groups and the maximum we can seat in<br />

the conservatory is 75 but across the whole restaurant 150.<br />

do you have any speciality Christmas dishes / drinks?<br />

We are launching a special sparkling white wine in time for<br />

Christmas ‘Leslies Reserve’ at £6.50 a glass. We also have a<br />

delicious selection of Christmas menus available including a<br />

four course celebrating Christmas Lunch for £65 per person<br />

and £35 for children under 12. Every day from 21 <strong>November</strong><br />

we are also offering a festive menu which must be booked in<br />

When will you be putting up your<br />

tree and who will decorate it?<br />

We are putting up our Christmas tree on the same day as<br />

the <strong>Wealden</strong> <strong>Times</strong> Midwinter Fair on 21 <strong>November</strong> and<br />

owner Leslie Balfour-Lynn, whose interior design expertise<br />

gave the Goudhurst Inn, including the bedrooms, its stylish<br />

interior, will also be decorating the inn for Christmas.<br />

What are you wishing for Christmas?<br />

The owners and staff at the Goudhurst Inn and Hush Heath<br />

Estate wish all their guests and diners a fabulous Christmas!<br />
