cinco metros de alto de la cantante
barranquillera Shakira Isabel Mebarak
Ripoll.
Está ubicada en el Parque Metropolitano,
en la calle Murillo con Circunvalar.

the words that adorn the five meter high
great steel statue of singer Shakira Isabel
Mebarak Ripoll.

heredado año tras años de nuestros
ancestros.
It is one of the monuments which
recognizes our exquisite culture. The
National Monument to Cumbia is
undoubtedly one of the most representative
monuments of Barranquilla city since it
displays the folklore and tradition of the
coastal region which has been passed
down through the generations.
