French Toast Casserole<br />

8 slices Texas Toast<br />
2 8 oz. blocks of cream cheese<br />
1 dozen eggs<br />
1/2 cup maple syrup (pure)<br />
2 cups of whole milk<br />
• Grease a 9" x 13" pan.<br />
• Cube bread (crusts and all) and place 1/2 in the bottom of<br />
the dish.<br />
• Cube cream cheese and layer over the bread cubes.<br />
• Then layer the other 1/2 of the bread cubes over the top.<br />
• Combine the eggs with the milk and syrup (no need to<br />
beat, just mix).<br />
• Pour over the layers and store overnight in the refrigerator.<br />
The next morning, pre-heat oven to 375 degrees, and bake for<br />
45 minutes. Serve with maple syrup and sliced strawberries.<br />
