Women’s use of social media exceeded men’s, watchers say<br />
While women and men were almost neck-and-neck in their use of social media networking<br />
sites—76 percent of females and 72 percent of men do so—women had<br />
55 percent more Facebook posts than men and 8 percent more Facebook friends<br />
than men.<br />
In addition to Facebook, women were<br />
more active on Twitter, Instagram and<br />
Pinterest. Overall, men were more active<br />
on the business networking site LinkedIn<br />
and on Google and YouTube.<br />
