COSMOS THE BODY OF GOD: ISA PURUSHA TATVA M.M.NINAN When Christ entered our world, He took on a physical body “prepared” for Him (Hebrews 10:5; Philippians 2:7). Constraining the Godhead within human limitation was another of the great sacrifice which is accomplished only in the supreme Love of God to his creation. Through His physical body, Jesus demonstrated the love of God clearly, tangibly, and boldly—especially through His sacrificial death on the cross (Romans 5:8). Just before his death he took a group of people to be his Apostles - to take the message to all creation. In the last supper he had together with them Jesus said: (Luk 22:14-20) And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance 108

In truth, the material world with all its life was indeed the body of God.
