DESTINY OF SATAN
The story of Satan as the one who leads mankind towards evil away from home is portrayed
in picturesque in the book of Revelation. Chapter 19 details the struggle within mankind at
this end of this age with the final banishment of Satan and all his cohorts for a 1000 years.

i.e. (specially) (infernal) "abyss":--deep, (bottomless) pit.
254 halusis hal'-oo-sis of uncertain derivation; a fetter or manacle:--bonds, chain.
1404 drakon drak'-own probably from an alternate form of derkomai (to look); a fabulous
kind of serpent (perhaps as supposed to fascinate):--dragon.
3789 ophis of'-is probably from 3700 (through the idea of sharpness of vision); a snake,
figuratively, (as a type of sly cunning) an artful malicious person, especially Satan:--serpent.
5507 chilioi khil'-ee-oy plural of uncertain affinity; a thousand:--thousand.
Isa 24:21 And it shall come to pass in that day 3117 , that the LORD 3068 shall punish 6485 the

The absence of devil and all its hosts at the time of the 1000 year reign of the Lord will bring
a period of peace and prosperity on earth. But this will not however solve the problem of evil.
Notice that the 1000 years as rendered stands only for a long time and not exactly 1000
years in earth time.
