Income Assistance and Disability Services (SS03)<br />
Provides services and basic income support to Saskatchewan people who are temporarily or<br />
permanently unable to achieve economic self-sufficiency. It provides financial assistance to<br />
individuals and families for housing and employment supplements, child care subsidies and<br />
financial support for seniors. It also promotes economic self-sufficiency and supports inclusion of<br />
persons with disabilities. It operates residential facilities, crisis prevention services and supports a<br />
network of third party community-based organizations that provide residential and day programs<br />
for persons with intellectual disabilities.<br />
