Employment Standards (LR03)<br />
Establishes minimum standards of employment through the enforcement of legislation related to<br />
hours of work, overtime, minimum wage, annual holidays, termination or layoffs, leaves of<br />
absence including compassionate care, maternity, paternity and bereavement, and equal pay<br />
provisions. It also delivers outreach programs to workers and employers on rights and<br />
responsibilities related to employment standards, and operates the Ministry's client service desk.<br />
