Labour Market Development (EC13)<br />
Supports the recruitment, development and retention of a skilled and productive workforce.<br />
Invests in people, programs and services aimed at developing an efficient labour market.<br />
Provides leadership in labour market planning, online and in-person employment services, training<br />
allowances for low-income students in approved programs and funding to employers to train new<br />
or existing employees for jobs. Also provides skilled apprenticeships, supports for people with<br />
disabilities and foundational skill and training programs. Funds programs and services related to<br />
the admission of new immigrants and coordination of the settlement and integration of<br />
newcomers into the social and economic life of Saskatchewan.<br />
