America in Prophecy by Ellen White [Original Edition]

America’s peculiar origins and hegemonic impact in world affairs stand undisputed. As a superpower birthed from Europe, her eminent history has been celebrated. Foretold since antiquity, a myriad of repressions, revolutions and reforms inspired the first band of pilgrims to settle on a new promised land of liberty. This book enables the reader to understand America’s unique destiny and commanding role while besieged by gross spiritual and political machinations. Clearly, this reading lifts the veil from past events molding America and presaging her cooperation to undermine the very values once cherished.

of Christ now to be found? Without doubt, in the various
churches professing the Protestant faith. At the time of their
rise, these churches took a noble stand for God and the truth,
and His blessing was with them. Even the unbelieving world
the words of the prophet to Israel, “Thy renown went forth
among the heathen for thy beauty; for it was perfect through
My comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord
God.” But they fell by the same desire which was the curse
and ruin of Israel—the desire of imitating the practices and
courting the friendship of the ungodly. “Thou didst trust
