<strong>2016</strong> Maryland <strong>Nurses</strong> <strong>Association</strong><br />
2. Expanding ethics education to the Maryland Nursing community: The Committee agreed to<br />
develop articles on Nursing and Ethics for submission to the Maryland Nurse on a quarterly<br />
basis. Two articles were submitted, one article was accepted and published.<br />
3. Participation in the MNA annual meeting: The Committee held a podium presentation on the<br />
ANA’s Code of Ethics at the 2015 annual meeting. The Committee will be hosting a table at<br />
the upcoming <strong>2016</strong> meeting.<br />
4. The Committee launched a Maryland <strong>Nurses</strong> Ethics facebook page and has achived 59<br />
‘likes.’ The Committee’s goal is for each member to post at least one per month on the page.<br />
The page is averaging four posts a month.<br />
5. Goals for <strong>2016</strong>-2017: Recruit a minimum four additional members; submit an article for<br />
consideration for each issue of the Maryland Nurse; present at MNA’s annual conference;<br />
present at a minimum of two nursing community events; average a facebook post per week.<br />
