SERIES NOTES<br />

For the first time in franchise history, Minnesota clinched a playoff series with a home-ice victory, defeating the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of the<br />

first-round series at Xcel Energy Center. The win also marked the first time Minnesota won a playoff series in fewer than seven games, with its<br />

three previous series-clinching victories coming on the road in a Game 7. Zach Parise led the Wild with seven points (3-4=7) in the series, while<br />

his linemates Jason Pominville (2-3=5) and Mikael Granlund (1-4=5) ranked T-2nd with five points each. Nino Niederreiter scored three goals in<br />

the series to tie Parise for the team lead and ranked fourth on the Wild with four points during the series. Niederreiter scored the winner in Game<br />

5 to become the Wild’s all-time leader in playoff GWG (3). In his first NHL postseason, Devan Dubnyk recorded a 2.32 GAA and .913 SV% while<br />

going 4-2 in the series, including a 17-save shutout in Game 3. Over the six-game series, the Wild posted a 33.3 percent success rating on the<br />

power play (4-of-12) and added one shorthanded goal (Parise). St. Louis defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk led the series with eight points (0-8=8),<br />

while Vladimir Tarasenko totaled seven points (6-1=7), including a Game 2 hat trick. Jake Allen went 2-4 for the Blues, posting a 2.20 GAA and<br />

a .904 SV%. The Wild led the Blues in both hits (149 to 134) and blocked shots (102 to 79) in the series.<br />

SERIES NOTES<br />

For the first time in team history, Minnesota advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in back-to-back seasons. The Blackhawks<br />

earned a series sweep en route to the 2015 Stanley Cup Championship. With three points (1-2=3) in the series, Zach Parise became the<br />

Wild’s all-time playoff points leader, totaling 25 points (9-16=25) in 33 playoff games with Minnesota. Defenseman Matt Dumba, playing in<br />

his first NHL postseason, tied Parise as the Wild’s leaders in points during the series (1-2=3). Devan Dubnyk posted a 2.82 GAA and .901 SV%<br />

in the series. Patrick Kane led the series in both goals and points (5-1=6), while Patrick Sharp ranked second on the Blackhawks with four<br />

points (1-3=4). Corey Crawford went 4-0 in net, posting a 1.75 GAA and a .947 SV% during the series, including a 30-save shutout in Game 3.<br />

Minnesota outhit Chicago, 122-90, while each team registered 54 blocked shots in the series.<br />
