third player to reach milestone. Reached 30-goal plateau for third time in his career.
• Recorded 300th career assist at NJ (3/20/14) and 200th career goal at CAR
(11/9/13).
• Scored a goal and tallied an assist at the 2012 NHL All-Star Game.
• Named 16th full-time captain in Sabres history (10/6/11).
• Named a finalist for the 2008 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy after netting career bests

CAREER TRANSACTIONS
• Acquired by Minnesota with a 2014 fourth-round selection (pick was later traded to Edmonton who selected
William Lagesson) from Buffalo in exchange for Matt Hackett, Johan Larsson, a 2013 first-round selection (Nikita
Zadorov) and a 2014 second-round selection (Vaclav Karabacek), April 3, 2013; Selected by Buffalo in the
second round (55th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
• Signed through 2018-19. Becomes an unrestricted free agent 2019-20.
PERSONAL
• Charitable interests include United Heroes League.
• Wife, Kim, and son Jayden (7) and daughter Caylee Rose (5).
• He lists golf as his favorite hobby but is more focused on what his kids do (hockey, baseball and gymnastics).
