KFAN FM 100.3 is the official flagship home of the Minnesota Wild. Since the 2011-12 NHL season, KFAN has<br />
broadcast all Wild preseason, regular season and Stanley Cup Playoff games on the State of Hockey’s top-rated<br />
sports talk station. Bob Kurtz (play-by-play), Tom Reid (analyst) and Kevin Falness (studio host) capture all of<br />
the action and suspense. Coverage begins with a 15-minute pre-game show. Conflicting games are moved to<br />
KOOL 108 FM. Additional Wild-related programming on KFAN features the “Wild Weekly” show and “Wild Fanline,”<br />
which airs after select Wild games.<br />

The Minnesota Wild is committed to growing the sport of hockey throughout the state of Minnesota and upper<br />
Midwest as part of the Minnesota Wild Radio Network. Through a partnership with Skyview Networks, more than<br />
35 radio affiliates will broadcast Wild hockey games to thousands of Minnesota fans. The Wild and its radio<br />
partners will create and execute a variety of fundraising, educational and inspiring promotional opportunities<br />

Kevin Falness is in his 17th year as the Executive Producer and Studio Host of Minnesota Wild<br />
radio broadcasts on the club’s flagship station KFAN radio and across the Minnesota Wild Radio<br />
Network. He is the host of the team’s pre- and post-game shows, and keeps fans up to date on all<br />
the late-breaking hockey news and scores around the NHL between periods from the Audi quattro<br />
Club in the Xcel Energy Center. It serves as the starting point for each and every radio broadcast<br />
for the Minnesota Wild Radio Network.<br />
Falness is a graduate of St. Louis Park High School and Brown Institute, and spent six years in<br />
Denver working in sports radio at KKFN before joining the Minnesota Wild.<br />
Besides hearing him on the radio broadcasts, you can also catch Falness providing updates both for the team’s official Web<br />
site, wild.com and the official Minnesota Wild PONDcast. He also devotes much time to Wild radio affiliates, building the largest<br />
network in the NHL. Falness also serves as host of the two hour pre-game on KFAN for University of Minnesota Golden Gopher<br />
Football broadcasts.<br />
He and his wife, Melissa, have three sons, Brayden, Bennett and Beckett. The family lives in St. Louis Park.<br />
