Since its launch EquidGel® has been
gathering momentum as its benefits are
being realised for all horses in all disciplines.
The company has been sponsoring several
horses and their riders have become
Ambassadors for the product. The main
criterion for sponsorship is that the horses
have to be on a sole diet of EquidGel® so
that their performance, behaviour and
condition can be attributed to the effects of
the products 100% natural ingredients. Our
four Ambassadors’ tell their stories:
Lisa Jones - British Showjumping Senior
Lisa is 24, she is from Doncaster and was
spotted at the Area 24 Summer Show in
2015, riding her horse Diana P (aka Snowy)
after winning the Discovery class. She
tried a sample of EquidGel® as Snowy
had colicked several times just after she
had bought her because she would not
drink at shows, however Lisa attended
an Information Evening held at Caistor
Equestrian Centre to find out more about
EquidGel® and since then has
fed Snowy exclusively on
it with remarkable success. In one year
Snowy has progressed from British Novice
to jumping 1.35m and qualified for the
Grade C finals at Bolesworth International
and the Winter Novice Championships at
Hickstead. Lisa says “Snowy has not colicked
since being on EquidGel® and I wouldn’t
feed her anything else, she has great focused
energy with all the nutrition she needs and
I have total peace of mind when it comes to
hydration as she love drinking it at home,
on the lorry and at shows”. Lisa is pictured

Tiggi is our youngest
Ambassador who rides
EquidGel’s own Jessie’s
Lovely Tinker. She lives
in North Somercotes
in Lincolnshire. Tiggi
competes with the
South Wold North Pony
Club, North Lincs Riding Club and is a BS
Junior jumping in BNov and Disc classes.
She has qualified for the British Riding Clubs
Horse Trails Championships at Swaffcliffe,
the British Riding Clubs Showjumping
and Style Championships at Lincolnshire
Showground and the Horsewear Ireland
Eventing Championships at Eland Lodge.
Jessie was the original EquidGel® ‘Guinea
Pig’ and has been on EquidGel® since it was
designed by her owner Equine Nutritionist
Sandra Murphy BSc (Hons) 4 years ago.
She is consistently at the top of her game
in every discipline and is testimony to the
amazing effect of this hydrating, natural
fibre based diet.

from Wales, competed
in the incredibly
tough Cairngorm
100 Endurance ride
last month and used
EquidGel® before,
during and after the
ride which is 100km on
one horse in one day, she says “Although
we were sadly vetted out after 54 miles
on a very minor hind leg lameness, Zamil
was amazing metabolically throughout
the weekend. He had a perfect starting vet
card with his lowest ever heart rate at a big
event, and was in the first full vet gate very
quickly with all A’s and 1’s and a heart rate
of 50/50. Even at the next vetting where we
were eliminated his metabolics were still
spot on. He doesn’t look like he’s done a
thing, not one sign of dehydration and he
hasn’t lost an ounce of weight”.
Emma Jane Colson –

Emma and her
‘forever horse’ Lady
live near Horncastle,
Lincolnshire. She has
been using EquidGel®
for the last two years. She was reluctant at
first to try something different and break
away from tradition, however once Emma
attended a talk about the role of fibre and
hydration, she decided that feeding fibre
was the best she could do for her much
loved horse. Both Emma and Lady now
compete in British Dressage and have
progressed rapidly through from Prelim
to competing at Medium level gaining her
