Happy Hour - Uncle Buck’s<br />

We had an excellent turn-out for<br />
this month’s Happy Hour. Over<br />
40 Mavs and even a grand baby<br />
made the event, being one of our better<br />
attended summer Happy Hours. It is nice<br />
to see our fellow Mavs take their children<br />
and friends out to dinner to socialize about<br />
everything Porsche and to discuss other interests. That is<br />
what it is all about, a casual relaxing evening with friends<br />
and maybe the chance to meet someone new.<br />
On the subject of new faces, it was good to know there<br />
is continued interest by our new members to visit Happy<br />
Hour to see what it is all about. New to the club included;<br />
Ann Scheuerle who owns a 2002 911 Carrera. Smile if<br />
you see her on an American Eagle flight…she will be<br />
sitting up front as your pilot. Frank and Lois Olson who<br />
own a 2003 Boxster. Also new to the club are Eric and Pat<br />
Wiscneauckis, they own a very new <strong>2011</strong> Carrera 4S. Not<br />
done yet – welcome Danny and Renee Thompson who own<br />
a Cayenne Turbo. So, welcome to all and hope to see you<br />
at future Happy Hours, or at the many events that our club<br />
sponsors.<br />

Uncle Bucks is a venue that provides an array of affordable<br />
meals. A huge establishment that includes a varied selection<br />
of beer from their micro-brewery, and national brands which,<br />
makes it a fun eatery to visit. The wait staff is friendly and<br />
tries hard to please. The décor gives the impression of a<br />
hunting lodge, with varied trophy deer and others catches<br />
on the walls.<br />
There should be a fair number of stories to be heard at next<br />
month’s Happy Hour from those who are attending Parade.<br />
Safe travels to all and we look forward to hearing all about<br />
your experiences.<br />
Next month’s Happy Hour will be held at Mac’s American<br />
Grill, 5120 Highway 121, Colleyville, TX 76034 on 18<br />
<strong>August</strong> <strong>2011</strong>. As always all are welcome…and thanks<br />
again to all those “new members” that attended this month’s<br />
Happy Hour, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and look<br />
forward to seeing you all again at a future Happy Hour.<br />
