of this event,
she has a
special place
for others who
have the photographic
eye and/or interest. Dave
also told me stories of his brother
who flew in the Air Force and then
participated in activities that he
could not even tell his own brother
about. What a code of conduct.
I also have to recognize Steve
and Bob Rapfogel, a father and
son duo who were very intent on
the upcoming Drivers’ Education
event scheduled for the following
weekend. On a personal note, as
an instructor for the PCA club, it
was hard for me to miss the second
event of the season due to another
personal occasion. It is always fun
to see the level of excitement in
any of the student’s eyes and Steve
and Bob had it in spades. Bob had
specifically traveled all the way
from Houston (again, remember
that Texas perspective -- Houston
is just a hop, skip, and a jump from
Fort Worth). They were both excited
about driving on the 3.1-mile

in Cresson, as are most people
who have the opportunity to
drive such a technical track.
Additionally, John and Valerie
Pfaff joined the Happy Hour for
the first time, and John was on the
wait list for the upcoming weekend.
He had previously driven a DE, but
not in his newly acquired 997 Cab-
