Hope, Inc: A Place for New Beginnings

Hope is not a dream, but a
way of making dreams a
reality. That’s exactly what
the Maverick Region continues to
make come true for the Huffaker-
Hughes Hope House. All through
the year, the club helps the shelter
with some basic necessities and more.
Thank you for the Silent Auction donations that
were given at Founders’ Day. Another way to help
make our Holiday Party a joyous event is by giving
Walmart gift cards to the Hope Shelter. Increments
of $25.00 are most helpful. We usually have
20 moms, 20 children, and eight staff members to
help make the holidays brighter.
EVERYONE is invited to share in the holiday spirit
by attending the annual Christmas Party on Saturday,
December 13 at the First Presbyterian Church,
410 NW 2nd Street, Mineral Wells, running from
noon until 2:00 pm.
We will be giving the gift cards to the families that
are in need and we also are able to show our appreciation
to the staff with a gift card, too. Just want
to say “TANKS” to the Maverick Region for being a
“DRIVING” force in making it a joyous holiday for
others.
