YMCA Lifeguard Course<br />
Pool<br />
Family $250 Individual $250 Community $350<br />
The YMCA Lifeguard course trains participants<br />
to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatics<br />
emergencies and to provide care for breathing and<br />
cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses<br />
until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take<br />
over. To complete the course participants must pass<br />
the entry exam, attend all lessons and pass the final<br />
written and practical exams. The Lifeguard course is<br />
approximately 26 hours long. Upon completion of this<br />
course participants will receive a YMCA certificate for<br />
Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED valid for 2 years. For<br />

Art explosion (All Ages)<br />

Get messy and silly with art! Each week, we’ll<br />
focus on a new wacky project with pain, glue,<br />
clay and more. Explore your inner Jackson Pollock<br />
and come prepared to get messy!<br />

Experience a variety of mediums and play with<br />
art in new and interesting ways. Each week, we’ll<br />
work on a different project aiming to widen each<br />
student’s knowledge of art. At the end of the class,<br />
we’ll sping the Wheel of Art to determine what next<br />
week’s exciting project will be.<br />

Youth Dance <strong>Program</strong> (6-18 Years)<br />

This program incorporates classical training within<br />
the genres such as Jazz, and Ballet. We not only<br />
teach kids how to dance, but through dance they<br />
learn discipline and patience.<br />

Urban Dance (6-18 Years)<br />
Studio<br />

Learn different styles of dance, such as Hip Hop,<br />
and R & B. Participants get a fun workout while<br />
learning new steps and routines.<br />
