ENGAGED COUPLES
icia and Andrew started dating in senior year of high
L school and continued to date the next two years before
going their separate ways. They remained friends over the
next decade, and slowly that friendship blossomed into a
relationship once again.
After they had been dating again for four years, Andrew
decided to propose on Christmas Day. He had his surprise
gift wrapped and ready to go the week before and couldn’t
wait any longer. On December 20th he gave Licia the
present early. She opened a big box and found a smaller
box and then the surprise, her engagement ring.
The couple plans to marry in New York, their home state, and
tentatively have set a May 25 wedding date on Shelter Island,
in a small retreat with an outdoor chapel and open space.

The couple lives in an apartment in East Boca Raton and
plans to start house-hunting in the coming months. Andrew
owns a Super Cuts hair salon and Smoothie King juice bar.
Licia is a freelance writer and co-owner of a Smoothie King.
When they are not working or busy with wedding plans they
enjoy the outdoors, running, biking, snorkeling, and travel.
They are planning a honeymoon to Cuba. ❤
