“My family and I will be spending the day together cooking
at home, appreciating the fact that I wouldn’t be here without
my mom. I’m lucky to have her in my life as a guide and as
the best friend I could ever have.”

“My father is coming up from the Keys from work in the morning
to surprise her, and we’re planning on going out to dinner at one
of her favorite restaurants in downtown Fort Lauderdale.”

“I plan on waking up half an hour before her so I can make her breakfast
in bed. Then after she wakes up and showers I’ll play her favorite song, “All
Summer Long,” on the guitar and my dad and I will give her gifts and cards.
And then we’ll go to her favorite restaurant, The Melting Pot, for dinner.”
