HOW THE ARTS CAN HELP TO PREVENT A DISASTER 

IN THE U.S. DEMOCRACY 

Yes Donald Trump, President Elect, is a TRAI- 

TOR. Last week’s comment in this article has 

now been verified. Documents disclosed by the 

security agencies of the United States have definitively 

stated that the Russians headed by Putin 

have had a direct effect on the election of Donald 

Trump by promoting negative lies about Hillary 

Clinton during the primary and campaigning of 

the presidential election. There isn’t a specific 

statement regarding Trump’s direct involvement 

in this act of treason in the unclassified version of 

this report, however the implications are numerous. 

Read the report yourself. Even as a biased 

supporter of Trump you will find it shocking in 

how the President Elect is directly implicated. 

Donald Trump is a TRICKSTER, actually the 

appropriate description is a that he’s a LIAR . He 

lied about building a wall and having Mexico 

pay for it. Now he has said that he will ask for an 

appropriation from Congress to begin building 

and later get Mexico to pay for it. Former, and 

current presidents of Mexico. along with political 

individuals in the country have stated that there 

is no way Mexico will pay for a Wall between the 

two countries. This is one of many lies he has 

purported during his campaign. Others will be 

evidenced as they unravel during his first few 

months in the office. 

Donald Trump is a TYRANT. The unabridged 

defininition of “tyrant” is 1. “a person who uses 

his power cruelly and unjustly.” One who treats 

those under his control tyrannically; despot. He 

has shown his tyranny directly in the appointment 

of cabinet members who are grossly unqualified 

or anti the cabinet position they are to fill.

being educated. Using her wealth and influence 

to promote for-profit charter schools and church 

schools to receive public education funds, in her 

home state of Michigan. Her 

involvement has caused Michigan’s education 

system to implode into one of the most ineffectual 

educational systems in the country. This is 

TYRANNY! And it is only one example of the 

unqualified, exploytive characteristics of how 

Trump’s cabinet appointments will undermine the 

position they are being appointed to chair.

Well, it’s a New Year. A New me? A New 

you? Did you take the reasoning of the 

new year to accept your dick-headed 

qualities, or will you make a positive 

change? And for how long? I sound like 

I have no faith in you. Well, I’m hoping 

that this will maybe give you a push for 

a change. For most of you, a push off a 

cliff. 

We are all human, and we aren’t perfect, 

but some need that push. Some people 

are so clueless, that they are assholes. I 

am in touch with who I am. My faults 

and all. I often wonder if there are those 

people who are just legitimately and 

genuinely clueless to any emotions or 

rational idea of what humanity is. Then 

I ponder on the electoral year ahead. So, 

before it starts (any worse than now) 

stop the hate. Not for an Orlando “week”, 

just stop it. Or be aware of it and change 

it. If you despise certain creatures of 

the night, as you know I have my night 

crawlers waiting to be stepped on “by 

accident”. I know they will be eaten alive 

eventually, but I will never know when 

because I’m over here, not caring. That’s 

a negative environment. I make it my job 

to avoid it or make it go away. 

There will always be negativity, but you 

can avoid it. You can avoid the hate. 

You may hate all you want, just keep it 

to yourself. Spare us your negativity. Or 

just release the hate like a big fart. A long 

stinky fart that just echoes out of your 

ass like a tuba having an orgasm. Release 

it and feel the weight rise off your shoulders. 

Or ass cheeks. Hate takes up energy. 

Energy you can use to get fucked

The PS Intl Film Festival is going great guns. 

Packed theaters in both Palm Springs and 

Cathedral City. The annual Gala was spectacular 

with common folks like my date and 

I along side Nicole Kidman and Tom Hanks. 

My date even got me out on the dance floor! 

This was the first time I have attended the 

gala. Not sure I am up to such high society 

events annually but it was fun to go this once. 

I was especially intrigued and amazed by Tom 

Hands and Ben Kingsley. Very elegant. Brilliant, 

insightful speeches. Hats off to Harold 

Matzner and the 100’s of committee members 

and volunteers who put on the events. 

Taste of Jalisco is coming to downtown Cathedral 

City in early February. Great food, dancing 

and singing, art work by children from Cathedral 

City and Tequila, Jalisco and of course lots 

of tequila! Produced by the City of Cathedral 

City and sponsored by the Evening Rotary 

Club, Telemundo and many local businesses. It 

will be a fabulous party. Don’t miss out. 

I head out to Phoenix at the end of the week to 

meet with other members of the Democratic 

National Committee to interview candidates 

for the position of Chair of the DNC. Current 

candidates include members of Congress, the 

outgoing Secretary of Labor and various state 

party leaders. Two of the candidates are Gay 

men! There is much to do to rebuild the party 

after the 2016 election. Much will depend on 

who is chosen as Chair. I will say it has been 

fascinating getting to speak to these men and

All the local city council’s are now getting busy 

preparing for their New Years. Cathedral City 

Council will have a one day retreat to determine 

goals and strategies for the next two 

years. Along with that we will be reviewing our 

mid fiscal year budget projections and determine 

how things are going financially. 

The Council has already determined that we 

need to hire six new firefighters to bring some 

stability to the department. We will be utilizing 

some of the revenue from the cannabis industry 

to hire them. 

The Ramon Road and Cathedral Canyon 

bridges should begin construction near the 

end of 2017. That will help a great deal in traffic 

safety with the widening on Ramon and with 

the flooding that occurs on Cathedral Canyon 

If you get a chance stop by Trunks, a new bar 

where Digs used to be. I stopped by last Tuesday 

and it was doing great business. Say to the 

owners and staff

City. He has made his name in governmental circles 

as an expert in transportation issues and is very active 

in working on bringing passenger rail service to the 

COACHELLA Valley. Greg was the first openly gay 

elected city council members In Riverside County. He 

has served on the boards of the National League of 

Cities and the League of California Cities and as President 

of the Southern CA Association of Governments.
