1.12 Split Cord Grips for the KT Grommet System up to IP68 up to UL TYPE +284°F -40°F 1–35 mm 1.12 By using icotek's split cord grips, cables with or without connenctors or complete cable harnesses with diameters from 1 to 35 mm can be quickly routed into enclosures, cabinets or machines and achieve protection levels up to IP66/IP68/UL type 4X rated. Depending on the size of the cord grip one, two, four or six separate grommets can be installed. The two gland halves can be easily snapped together without the need of tools. The routed lines are securely sealed and held inside the grommets. The split system of the KVT cord grips enables quick and easy assembly which is great for retrofitting and maintenance. The cable is placed into the split grommet which is set into one of the gland halves. To mount the cord grips either snap it into the round metric standard cutout (sizes available from M20 to M80) or screw it with a hexagonal locknut. The mounting method is dependent on which model is being used. Screwable or pluggable. By screwing (stainless steel screws by default) the top section of the split cable gland to its body, a higher clamping pressure can be achieved.
