The course focuses on helping students in Extended Resource<br />

or Life Skills programs to understand how planning, directing,<br />

justifying, and presenting are tied to learning. Instructors<br />

provide curricular and advisory support for students to review<br />

structuring of an argument; compose a comprehensive letter<br />

detailing their beyond high school plans; propose and execute<br />

a deliberate pursuit of clear project learning goals; and coach<br />

communication of their understanding of themselves as a<br />

learner in a public presentation. Credit in College and Career<br />

Seminar is dependent on meeting standard on Everett Public<br />

<strong>School</strong>s Culminating Exhibition which includes the Reflective<br />

Letter, Self-Directed Project, and Culminating Presentation.<br />
