to Receive a Great Honor for<br />
Musical Achievement<br />
Ken Rice, Owner, Operator, Teacher & Instrument Repair<br />
Man of Temecula’s “Little Shop Of Horns” for the<br />
past 19 years, is about to receive another great honor<br />
for musical achievement.<br />

His 70’s Band “The Fabulous Flippers” will be receiving their<br />
3rd U.S. State Induction into The South Dakota R & R Hall of Fame<br />
On April 21st & 22nd, where each of his proud 7 band members will<br />
be presented with Prominent Plaques, and they will perform a Live<br />
R & R Concert for hundreds.<br />
“Music has always been my life” Ken Said & he is also a nightly<br />
& well received entertainer. “I don’t know any Saxophone players<br />
can sing great too, and play everything from Sinatra to Emenim” said<br />
one his many faithful followers. He provides everything musical from<br />
his Single to a 6 piece band, and there are NO disappointed clients.<br />
Ken Rice has played his incredible sax and/or sang with select<br />
members of the San Diego Symphony, Robert Gordy of Motown,<br />
The Stylistics, Little Richard, Poco, Billy Preston, Smoky Robinson,<br />
Harry Dean Stanton, Gloria Gaynor, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Depp,<br />
Slash, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes live in Berlin, Thelma<br />
Houston, Johnny Hodges, Cat Anderson, POCO, Freida Payne, Jay<br />
McShan, Marvin Gaye (Golden Hall San Diego 1 year before his<br />
passing) The Chi-lites, Barry White in Germany, and more Recently<br />
with Virgil Gibson of the Original Platters. There are many photos<br />
and awards displayed proudly in his shop.<br />
Volunteering for many fund raisers in his community, in 2014,<br />
and again in 2016 he was presented with THE PRESIDENT’S<br />
“CALL TO SERVICE AWARD”, plus 2 letters of Congratulations<br />
signed by The President of The United States, displayed proudly in<br />
his shop as well as many Photos not to be missed. Although Sax is<br />
his most loved instrument, he plays clarinet, trumpet, piano, & guitar.<br />
On <strong>March</strong> 3rd many of his friends are having a “Surprise”<br />
6pm FREE Concert/Dance at THE CANYON LAKE COUNTRY<br />
CLUB, (open to the public) to help raise the funds for him to make<br />
this incredible Journey into his past, which will become yet another<br />
future memory.<br />
