Paulos Desalegn<br />

Paulos holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from<br />

Alemaya University, Ethiopia, with a specialisation in Agricultural<br />

and Food Marketing. He previously obtained a Bachelor of Science<br />

in Agricultural Economics from Alemaya University and a Diploma in<br />

Accounting from Addis Ababa University. Paulos joined SNV Ethiopia<br />

in 2005, working as lead adviser for the pineapple and honey value<br />

chain. He also served as senior SNV adviser in the <strong>Pro</strong>ductive<br />

Safety Net <strong>Pro</strong>gram Plus (PSNP Plus). His expertise is in the areas of agricultural value<br />

chain development, marketing, private sector enterprises and rural development, agribusiness<br />

development and research.<br />

Mogessie Fikrie<br />

Mogessie holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from<br />

the Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor of<br />

Arts in Management and Public Administration from Addis Ababa<br />

University. His main areas of expertise are in planning, <strong>org</strong>anisation<br />

and management, systems and procedure development,<br />

institutional and <strong>org</strong>anisational development, human resource<br />

management and capacity building. building. Mogessie worked from 2005 2005<br />

to 2011 as monitoring & evaluation adviser for the BOAM programme. Currently,<br />

Mogessie is management consultant to various business <strong>org</strong>anisations in Ethiopia.<br />

Melat Getahun<br />

Melat holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of<br />

Arts in Economics from Addis Ababa University. She joined SNV<br />

Ethiopia in 2009, serving as SNV knowledge management adviser<br />

with the USAID-funded <strong>Pro</strong>ductive Safety Net <strong>Pro</strong>gram Plus (PSNP (PSNP<br />

Plus). Plus). She holds the same position with the follow up USAID<br />

programme, Graduation Graduation with with Resilience to Achieve Sustainable<br />

<strong>Development</strong> (GRAD). Her professional expertise covers covers the areas<br />

of teaching, knowledge development and marketing.<br />

Heinz Greijn<br />

Heinz Greijn holds a Master of Business Administration from<br />

the Maastricht School of Management and a masters degree<br />

in in rural sociology sociology from from Wageningen Wageningen University. University. Heinz has has more<br />

than twenty twenty years experience as project manager and adviser<br />

on issues pertaining to capacity development, <strong>org</strong>anisational<br />

learning, governance and poverty reduction. Heinz works part-time<br />

for Maastricht University Centre for International Cooperation in<br />

Academic <strong>Development</strong> (MUNDO) as a manager of projects that<br />

focus on capacity development of higher education institutes, mainly in Africa. He is<br />

co-founder of Learning for <strong>Development</strong> (L4D), a Maastricht-based consultancy, and<br />

Editor-in-Chief of <strong>Capacity</strong>.<strong>org</strong>, a leading journal on capacity development.<br />

Juergen Greiling<br />

Juergen Greiling holds a PhD in Agricultural Science and a Master<br />

of Science, both from the University of Göttingen, Germany. He<br />

was Senior Adviser, Agri-Business and Food <strong>Pro</strong>cessing, for SNV<br />

Ethiopia’s BOAM <strong>Pro</strong>gramme from 2006 to 2011. His expertise<br />

covers the fi elds of agri-business development, food processing,<br />

networking, and research and development. Juergen is currently<br />

adviser to the Ethiopian Apiculture Board, under a GIZ-CIM<br />

Integrated Expert scheme.
