Over the last two months we asked PSi
readers to tell us which products were
worthy of recognition as the best that the
industry has to offer. Features, benefits, ease of
installation and best service are all factors in the
reasons why the following entries were
nominated, but as to who the final winner in each
of the categories is comes down to the online
votes cast by the industry.

Bosch - Dinion Starlight 7000
The Dinion IP starlight 7000 HD camera provides
clear images even at night or under low-light
conditions with high sensitivity in colour (0.017 lx)
and monochrome mode (0.0057 lx). Intelligent
noise reduction reduces bandwidth and storage
requirements by up to 30%.
Hikvision – DS-2TD2136
The new thermal camera from Hikvision features
Auto Gain Control, Digital Detail Enhancement,
and 3D Digital Noise Reduction and is equipped
with onboard video analytics including line
crossing detection and intrusion detection for
perimeter protection.

Dahua – HDCVI
Dahua HDCVI products deliver an end-to-end ultra
HD experience to existing coaxial systems. The
HDCVI 4.0 technology framework has three key
components: 4K-HDCVI for superior video
capture, IoT-HDCVI for multi-dimensional sensing
and AI-HDCVI to transform HDCVI-video into
searchable Boolean data. New products will be
introduced throughout the year in 2017 to
enhance the user experience of HDCVI customers.
Panasonic - WV-S1131
The WV-S1131 is from Panasonic’s i-PRO Extreme
camera platform. The camera takes advantage of
the power of H.265 and when implemented with
Panasonic’s Smart Coding technology, the system
offers 80% bandwidth. The camera is equipped
with a new 1/3” sensor which provides impressive
colour images even in very low light conditions.
IDIS – DR-8364D NVR
The DR-8364D is a 64-channel, full HD recorder
offering H.265/H.264 dual codec performance,
with IDIS Smart Failover technology, providing
users with cost-effective and worry-free
surveillance. This powerful new NVR is
particularly suited to large enterprise customers.
FLIR- FC-Series ID
The FC-Series ID combines thermal image detail
andedge perimeter analytics together in a single
device that delivers intrusion detection in
challenging environments and extreme
conditions. Installers can set custom trip lines
and regions of interest that will only trigger
alarms for human or vehicular intruders.
Videcon – AIR3526-IP4M-Z
The Concept Pro AIR3526-IP4M is a 4MP 2.8 -
12mm motorised zoom lens weatherproof bullet
camera with 35m IR range. Taking advantage of
Concept Pro’s Advanced Infrared Technology, the
camera operates in the darkest of environments,
automatically adjusting IR levels dependent on
the scene.
Pelco – Sarix Professional
The range of Sarix Professional cameras features
resolutions up to 5MP, delivering sharp images
and covering large areas with one camera, with
the ability to zoom into scenes while maintaining
evidential data. All cameras in the range are IK10
vandal resistant.
Redvision – RVX20
The latest addition to the X-SERIES range, the
RVX20 is an analogue rugged PTZ dome camera,
with 20x optical zoom. It dynamically toggles
between colour, black and white and day/night
modes, to provide optimal images in the most
demanding conditions. It also works in
conjunction with the modular IR or white-light
illumination options.
