Our First Rally<br />
As Kate and I had been looking at<br />
spending time together exploring areas<br />
of the UK, we were constantly drawn<br />
back to the ‘good old Conway’ and<br />
bought a Pathfinder from Pennine in<br />
September 2016.<br />
Kate suggested we take part in a rally,<br />
which didn’t meet with the most positive<br />
response from yours truly; nevertheless I<br />
Sysonby Acres is our first rally and whilst<br />
we had spent two nights in Accrington<br />
(to check it out prior to a long return run<br />
to Scotland) this gave us a chance to get<br />
a true feel for out-door living. We also<br />
knew a wealth of experience ‘on-site’<br />
would be on-hand should we need any<br />
help or guidance.<br />
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the<br />
Sysonby Acres rally: from the warm<br />
reception and welcome cuppa from<br />
Jim to the evening activities bringing<br />
everyone together.<br />
We appreciate these events don’t<br />
happen without a lot of behind the<br />
scenes work and effort but rely on<br />
supporters donating their own time to<br />
make it a success. We hope very much<br />
to meet you all again for the September<br />
rally in Derbyshire.<br />

AGM Rally <strong>2017</strong><br />
The Lawns Rally Fields, Fleet Hargate, Nr Spalding<br />
26th <strong>May</strong> – 4th June <strong>2017</strong><br />
We hope that you will be joining us at the AGM Rally at the Lawns Rally Fields. The<br />
Lawns is a tranquil and well maintained 20 acre site near Holbeach, just off the A17 and<br />
very easy to get to. The site is purpose built for rallies with large level lawns bordered<br />
by trees and shrubs scattered with wild meadow flowers to encourage wild life.<br />
The plans for the meeting are slowly coming together so here are some things you<br />
need to know in advance.<br />
• We will be having a sausage competition on the first Saturday of the rally – please<br />
bring sausages from your own region.<br />
• The AGM itself is being held at 11.00 a.m. on Monday 29th <strong>May</strong><br />
• Mitch and the Conway Sisters are performing on two evenings - the first one is on<br />
the first Sunday night with a special theme – Disco / Soul Music. We have again Rhys<br />
and Amy performing with them.<br />
