4. If one begins from a word which starts with an Alif and L\m,<br />
<strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong>re are two sub rules.<br />
a. If after <strong>the</strong> L\m <strong>the</strong>re appears any of <strong>the</strong> following letters<br />
(which are known as <strong>the</strong> Qamariyyah letters) <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> Alif<br />
will be given a Fat#ah (and made into a Hamzah) and <strong>the</strong><br />
L\m will be given a Suk[n. The Qamariyyah letters are:<br />
