Pets, like people, deserve to be treated with respect and dignity at the time of their death.
Kathy Kuebler, owner of Paws Forever Pet Cremation & Grief Support, is vigilant in her
role as caregiver for deceased pets and the
owners who deeply mourn their loss.
It takes a special person to willingly
step in and assist with the transition
from life, and Kathy is that person. She is
dedicated to treating every pet in the same
way she treats her own, with kindness
and compassion. She finds strength and
satisfaction in knowing she is helping to
ensure the aftercare the pets deserve and
the comfort their owners need.
Kathy Kuebler & KC
Pet owners may call Kathy any time,
any day, to tell her their pet has passed
on. No matter where, the vet’s office, emergency center or home, Kathy will travel to
the destination, often within the hour, and gently prepare the animal for transport to
the crematory. No waiting in cold storage and no
group transportation. Kathy is the advocate for
these voiceless creatures and their transition is
made in a loving manner.
Kathy talks to pet owners throughout the process.
She personally delivers pet remains, along with
paw prints and hair clippings as keepsakes, as
soon as possible after the procedure is complete.
But Kathy’s services do not end there. Certified in pet
loss and grief companioning, Kathy has 16 years
experience working with pets and connections with
veterinarians and pet professionals throughout the
area. She offers a monthly pet loss support group
and is always available to grieving pet owners.
“You and your pet will be in loving hands from the
moment you call,” said Kathy.
wedding ring and they wish to keep the existing stones,
Customers are encouraged to glean inspiration from
the showcase or bring in their own ideas. “Where before,
customers would pick something from the case, these
days it’s 50-50 with custom design,” said David Hyatt.
“They want something that reflects their own taste, and
it might be a formulation of three or four rings.”
Barry Hyatt Jeweler performs traditional wax carving,
an increasingly rare art, and custom CAD design with
the use of computers to create prototypes. They set all
the diamonds and gemstones in-house, hand-finishing
David Hyatt, owner
Your high-quality watch gets the gold star treatment
with the store’s detailed watch repair and sales. David
said, “We have tremendous access to estate and pre-owned jewelry and watches and
can pass those savings on.”
David is a third-generation jeweler who took over the family business this February.
“It was a natural calling and I’m very excited,” said David. “I grew up in my dad’s
store and wanted to work there
as soon as I was old enough,
and did through high school
and college.”
He plans to continue on the
family tradition and build the
business’ grass roots, taking
personal care with each aspect
and adding his own touch.
Fit, fashion and sizes for the entire family
The Waldman family has been in the shoe business since 1951. With the opening
of the first Laurie’s Shoes, they established the principles that continue to inspire their
work today: providing exceptional sit-and-fit service and fashionable comfort to every
customer, from infants to children to teens to adults, with a newly expanded selection for
men and women.
These values have never been more apparent than at their Chesterfield Mall store, where
the staff brings more than 45 years of retail service
to every customer. From store manager Tom Roberts,
to fit experts Sharon Walter and Craig Friedman, to
fourth-generation Jacob Waldman, they all give their
full attention to every customer.
They measure both feet, taking time to find the
perfect shoes. They fill their store with the latest trends
from the world’s best brands, including StrideRite,
New Balance, Saucony, Keen, Fly London and the
fully-washable Tsukihoshi footwear, providing their
customers a large range of styles, widths and sizes
for hard-to-fit feet.
Tom Roberts, manager and
Craig Friedman, associate
Four generations have joined Laurie’s Shoes since
1951. There is new technology, new tools to ensure a
great fit and new foot care products and accessories,
such as socks and orthotics, that complement the shoes and bring fashion and comfort
from head to toe, but the principles remain unchanged.
Laurie’s Shoes is proud of the 25 years it has done business at Chesterfield Mall and
of their customers who appreciate their
selection, personalized fit, dedication to
service and the fact that all three of these
values cannot be found when shopping
for shoes online, at an outlet mall or a
big box store.
The success of Laurie’s Shoes is a
testament to their history, strong local
ties and commitment to outstanding
value, and footwear for men, women and
children - the entire family!
