Marine & Property Group
acquires Port Dinorwic Marina
The Marine & Property Group Ltd has acquired
Port Dinorwic Marina, located in the Menai Strait in
Wales, UK.
Offering 180 berths, the picturesque, grade IIlisted
marina is the latest addition to the company’s
portfolio. The acquisition includes a range of food
and beverage outlets, offices, shops and workshops.
The group has existing centres in Wales, located
in Cardiff, Swansea and Aberystwyth. The company
offers an integrated approach to boat owners
with an established service offering including 350
berths at Cardiff Marina, 165 berths at Aberystwyth
Marina, 110 drystack spaces in Cardiff, Cardiff
Marine Village marina business park and boatyards
in Cardiff and Swansea.
Drew McDonald, director of the group said: “We
are delighted to welcome Port Dinorwic Marina to
the company. We look forward to meeting berth
holders and working with the existing team to
further enhance the services and facilities available
at the marina. We will be introducing a number of
initiatives to Port Dinorwic Marina including our

SG Marina merger creates F|3 Marina
Marinalife is welcoming votes for

contest will end on 1 October.

MDL’s Torquay
Marina awarded
highest accolade

SG Marina, a division of Siegal-Gallagher Management Company has merged with
Commercial Property Associates Inc and RFP Commercial Inc to form Founders 3, an
independently-owned full-service commercial real estate brokerage and management firm.
The marina division is now branded F|3 Marina.
The company aims to fill a niche in the “underserved market of publicly owned marinas”,
it says, on the back of its success with Titusville Marina in Florida, US, which increased
from 60% occupancy to near full capacity after F|3 Marina assumed management.
“Most facilities run by local governments are not built to meet the high expectations of
today’s boaters,” John Matheson, principle of F|3, says. “The marina management business
has grown in sophistication, especially in the last ten years, and you must be an expert in
the industry to succeed.”
In addition to the merger, F|3 has added Alain Giudice as its vice president of marina
operations. Giudice has over 25 years’ experience in design, development and operation of
marinas.
The company is looking forward to new opportunities across the US and abroad. It will
be expanding to the US West Coast later this year and expects to win assignments in
Canada and at least one in South America.

Harbour Association.
The 440-berth marina, owned
by MDL Marinas, is situated in the
