PUBLIC/SOCIETY BENEFIT THE NEW BOHEMIAN INNOVATION COLLABORATIVE (NEWBOCO) MISSION & SERVICES NewBoCo accelerates world-changing ideas, from Iowa. We aim to create impactful startup businesses that grow here; foster world-class technical and creative talent through programs for kids and adults; assist thriving companies in developing new products and attracting the best talent through corporate innovation programs; and make an outstanding social impact. HOW TO HELP Volunteer opportunities at NewBoCo include leading STEAM stations at CoderDojo (1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month), women in tech mentoring high school ladies for our day-long girls code camp, and event assistance throughout the year. PUBLIC/SOCIETY BENEFIT NORTH LIBERTY COMMUNITY LIBRARY MISSION & SERVICES The North Liberty Library is a gateway for information in the North Liberty community, fostering early literacy and lifelong learning for all citizens. Our mission is to be a gathering place and provide convenient and equal access to information, materials, programs and technology for all ages. HOW TO HELP The Friends of the North Liberty Library Endowment Fund was established in 2016 through the Community Foundation of Johnson County to supplement and sustain library funding. The endowment supports services, collection, and facility needs with a greater goal of building long-term stability. Visit the library’s website to donate. Volunteers play a vital role working and collaborating alongside staff members to reach our goals. Volunteer opportunities begin in 6th grade.
